Creative Thinking in Business
Labels: atlanticschool.com, insurance school in nj, nj insurance schoolI wanted to take a moment and share with you some thoughts on creative thinking in business. Some people say opportunity knocks but if your not listening, you could miss it.
For years now the Atlantic School has been offering its students CE vacations. A CE vacation is a creative idea that was born out of necessity. In the early days, we had one location. So in order to accommodate our client base we would often need to run special classes in hotel conference rooms. It was the only way to serve these customers. From there we asked ourselves, why not do this at a hotel in Atlantic City on a Friday? That way we could make an enjoyable weekend out it.
Continuing Education classes in Atlantic City were a hit. We also found that by bringing a large group of people we could negotiate better rates on rooms and meals. And then it hit us.
Why not apply the same thinking to vacations. With a larger group we could negotiate with travel agents to get a great price for our students, they could take class in the morning, relax all afternoon and evening and walk away with a great vacation and all the CE credit they need to maintain their license.
This opportunity came about because we are always looking for new ideas and new products. In everything we do we ask a simple question. "What else could we use this idea for?" But good ideas alone are not enough you need to have the determination to put those ideas to the test. Some will fail and some will succeed. You may not always walk away richer but you will always walk away wiser. Keep listening, Keep asking questions.

"How Do I Look Up My Insurance CE Credits Online?"
We want to take this opportunity to alert you to a change in the way that the state of NJ is tracking and updating credits. You can no longer look up your credits at Pearsonvue. the state is now using psiexams.com. Some folks have had a tough time. We want to share with you our experience.
1) The psiexams.com site does not seem to work well in a Mozilla Firefox browser. If you are having difficulties, try accessing the site with Internet Explorer.
2) The way to find your credits is a bit indirect.
a) First Select your State
b) Then Select Your Licensing Agency
c) Click Find Information
d) Now, look to your right and you will see a section called Messages. This is where you will find the link to look up how many credits you have.
3) If you are still having trouble give us a call 732-505-8111. We will be happy to help.
